Kirstein Launches a Search for a Global Equity Manager
2016 clearly showed that many active equity managers are quite similar in style, as the majority of them underperformed their benchmarks last year.
Over the winter, Kirstein has worked on analysing which type of global equity manager would be the best fit for Kirstein’s portfolio. This has resulted in us launching a search for a new asset manager who will complement our current portfolio of equity managers.
The type of manager we are looking for must not be exposed to pure growth, however, we will not deviate from looking at the classic virtues that we believe charactarise a good equity manager. As the search should complement a pre-existing portfolio, our focus will mostly be on analysing the managers’ portfolios and the performance pattern hereof.
The new asset manager will replace Standard Life in K Invest Global Equities.
